WELCOME to our regional travelers' garden tour.Our desire is to share information about historic garden spaces, like Filoli in Woodside, CA, or very natural places like Bishop Ranch in the foothills of the Contra Costa Park system . We hope every destination shared increases appreciation and interest to personally experience the outdoor beauty of the Western United States.It's all so accessible !

As a West Coast native, I hope to share my cherishing the winter rains that nurture the beauty of meadow wildflowers in Spring; the fantastic beauty of non indigenous plants culled worldwide in a place like Lotusland, Montecito. Our unique regional Mediterranean Coastal climate befriends ‘adaptable exotics’ and offers many plants people a propogation advantage in growing unique species. We want to share with our online visitors, many of these special Western resource nurseries.

We encourage exploration of links at 'Places' highlighting destinations to visit - plan a day trip! We've edited our sections for easy, concise reading and suggest Places to tour during seasonal operating hours. You can  go hike or stroll around in quietude.
